People, what a bunch of bastards
I worked Saturday and went to dinner at my in-laws yesterday. Work sucked, but the dinner was nice.
I work with some interesting people and one in particular that's prone to outbursts. He also seems to only be happy when he's upset about something. Yeah, it's a joy working with him. I was the lucky victim for his angry bullshit on Saturday, and since then I've been hating the world and not wanting to socialize at all. I sucked it up for Husband on Sunday and actually had a pleasant time with my in-laws. Guess not all people are bastards, but it sure feels like it sometimes.
I finally made a Costco run today and stopped by Petsmart after. I did pretty good at Costco only spending $100. We really just needed toilet paper and canned tomatoes but it's impossible to get out of there without a few other things. I didn't get anything too exciting. Some broccoli, a gyro meal kit, hummus, pita chips, and some everything bagel seasoning. I've been want to try it for awhile. It's tastes pretty much how I thought: like the stuff on top of everything bagels. This is definitely something we could mix together ourselves, but I'll have to see how quickly we go through this stuff first. I'll be reusing the jar it came in which is one of the reasons I bought the stuff. It's the perfect size to store bulk spices in.
I ate a hot dog at Costco and felt guilty doing it because I really need to cut out the meat. I already have high blood pressure and high cholesterol. And that gyro meal kit isn't exactly vegetarian. Blerg.
