When it rains, it snows
We've had a wild couple of days with a mix of winter and spring weather. Mother Nature is confused about the date. I suppose that's to be expected since we kinda fucked her over. That's climate change, baby! It's rained, snowed, sleeted, sleeted with thunder, snowed with lightening, and now it's just plain cold. The snow is heavy, wet, and sticky. It adhered so thoroughly to the shovels that we had to bang them on something after each scoop. We ended up only shoveling the front walk and steps, leaving the back until tomorrow. I had shoveled the back last night because my Wednesday night dinner friend came over and I didn't want her trudging through the snow, which should make it easier to shovel. Other than shoveling, it's been a low key day. I took a break from cooking today since we have tons of leftovers that need eating and spent the day relaxing.
